The Meeting
The 2016 GISM Annual Meeting has just concluded in Brescia, thanks to the valuable support of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale della Lombardia e dell'Emilia Romagna and the Fondazione Poliambulanza.
The rich two-day program covered several aspects related to the production and application of MSCs in clinical, medical, and veterinary fields. A total of 43 posters were presented and the winners of the “GISM Young Investigator Award 2016” were three outstanding young researchers: Theodora Chlapanidas from the University of Pavia, Maria Lorena Ferreira from IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopaedic Institute and the University of Milan, and Elisa Martella from the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute of Bologna.
