The Meeting

October 20-21, 2022. For the first time in the history of GISM, the annual meeting took place in the beautiful city of Turin, at the STARHOTEL MAJESTIC (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 54, Turin).

The program was divided over 2 days and included several sessions dedicated to researchers involved in the production and application of MSCs in clinical, veterinary and general research fields.

We attempted to keep costs affordable and to give young researchers the chance to win a personal award. The rules for abstract preparation and all competition details were reported in the Program PDF.

The abstracts presented at the “GISM2022 Annual Meeting” were published in the Abstract Book. Furthermore, extended versions of the presented works had the possibility to be submitted as standard research articles to the Special Issue “Mesenchymal Stem Cells: Immunobiology and Role in Immunomodulation and Tissue Regeneration 2.0” of the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, with an Article Processing Charge discount of at least 15%.

In addition, for the evening of Friday, October 21, the social event “Torino Magica Tour” was organized (Italian language only, €27 to be paid on site and not included in the GISM2022 Annual Meeting registration fee).
