STEMNET2026 Conference

The Conference

March 12-13, 2026. Third Conference of the Federation of Stem Cell Research Associations (STEMNET), joined by GISM together with FIRST, IPLASS and Stem Cells Research Italy.

The STEMNET2026 conference will take place in Bologna, at the Zanhotel Europa, Via Cesare Boldrini 11, 40121 Bologna BO, Italy.

The program will be divided over 2 days and will include several sessions of interest for all researchers involved in the production, application and study of stem cells.

Many international guests will attend the conference.

There will also be a section dedicated to researchers under 40, including a contest for the selection of speakers.

Deadline for “StemNet Next Generation – Contest2026” abstract submission: January 16, 2026.

In addition, “Young Investigator Awards” will be assigned to young researchers under 35, first authors of the presented abstracts. The rules for abstract preparation and all details are reported in the Program PDF.
